140km of slopes – 27 lift systems: The Plaine-Morte glacier in 2’927m is accessible from the alpine plateau. Every winter sports fan can find a suitable slope in Crans Montana. Snowborders can ride the 60.000 square meter snowbord park whilst looking for their adrenaline rush, practice jumps or spend their ski days in the halfpipe. Experienced skiers can attempt the 12km long downhill run “piste nationale”. In winter, the snow-covered golf course is perfect for cross-country skiing and hiking. This is not only a favourite for visitors who do not want to use the descents, it is also very popular for families and our senior guests.

For lovers of ski racing, there is an annual international ski world cup race – FIS or a myriad of other skiing events. Crans-Montana delights all its visitors with its wide range of slopes and areas which will delight you no matter if you are a beginner or expert, you could say there’s something for everyone.

Situated centrally in the Valais Alps, Crans Montana is easily reachable using the excellent Swiss public transport system.

From SION with the bus (Postauto Switzerland): by train from Sion/Post office: N° 353 to Crans -s. -S post; takes around 45 minutes, distance: about 21,7 km; Price: between  9 & 13 CHF (one way)

Use the train to Sierre (timetable information: www.cff.ch/www.sbb.ch. Then take the rack and pinion railway (FUNI) up to Crans-Montana; departure every 10 minutes; travel time: 17 min.
