The small ski area can be found 1600m above sea level, it is located at the end of the Ferret vallay. Encompassed by breath-taking views and far away from the mainstream skiing areas. Here you can discover the real Valais alpine experience. Life in this remote alpine village is slow and revolves around natures yearly cycle. One Hightlight is the traditional cheese manufacture on the four local mountain pastures.
The lift station in the village offeres free-riders, skiers and snowboarders easy access to the slopes. Cross-country skiers can find a perfect winter landscape throughout the 10km long cross-country ski trail which is suitable for both freestyle skating and the classic style of skiing. Opposite the lift the restaurant “Chez Maurice et Mauricette” with its large terrace and small Après skiing-bar, is a popular venue. A perfect place to keep an eye on the children during their skiing lessons or just to enjoy the sun while taking in the breath-taking mountain views.
The skiing school caters for all skiing levels. Free riding descents are well signposted but open to groups with a ski guide only.
